Hello all, after years of owning this great boat, it's time to send her to somebody who will love her as much as I did. The kiddos grew up fast and we're moving also, so the boat will go to a new owner. As you can see, priced right.  Here is the CL ad: http://cleveland.craigslist.org/boa/5731799679.html

1981 Compact sailboat and 2 hp Nissan marine motor for sale. Complete with sails, Nissan marine 2hp motor, rudder, lines, dock bumpers, battery powered stern light, new wheels and tires on trailer, other accessories, well taken care of, no damage to fiberglass, no needed repairs, some surface cracking (normal for it's age), but tow it home and sail it tomorrow. Can be sailed single-handed. I typically launch from Rocky River and power to Lake Erie. I've also single-handed it in other bays and lakes. Very easy to sail, very forgiving, and also very stable with it's 18" keel - no centerboard so much easier to manage and maintain. Kids grew up to fast, so I'm not sailing nearly as much as I want to.

Can be towed with a small car, so no need for large truck. Pictures are available (pictures are not the actual boat - the boat does not have a name), and I can generally show the boat as convenient to you (currently at a storage facility right off of main highways). Can also deliver within a reasonable distance if needed.

"The Com-pac 16 is a popular sailboat produced by Hutchins Yachts. It is a small "pocket cruiser" sailboat. Com-pac 16's are 16 feet long (4.87m) with a beam of 6 feet (1.82m). They have a shoal draft keel and draw 18 inches (46cm). They are generally thought of as being very seaworthy vessels. A Com-pac 16 displaces approximately 1100 pounds (499 kg) with 450 pounds (204 kg)of that as ballast in the keel. A relatively high ratio of keel weight to boat weight make the Com-pac resistant to heeling or overturning. The Com-pac's stability lends to its popularity. Although it has been out of production for approximately 10 years, there is an active online community for the Com-pac 16 (as well as other Com-pac models). Com-pac owners routinely share ideas, boat modifications, and experiences."
