I use a handheld eTrex 20 GPS on my CP16.  Normally I just lay it on the cockpit bench; not a good idea.  Does anyone out there have a way of mounting this very small unit so it is visible, safe, stable and convenient while sailing?

How about industrial Velcro? I used it to mount a small GPS on my old rowing shell. It was cheap and worked great. Lowe's and Home Cheapo both sell the industrial stuff, at least they do here in NJ.

Gerry, I don't own own one myself  but a company called RAM makes a secure cradle with different mounts for the Etrex.
Google your model 20 and check the results.

Thanks Mike.  That's exactly what I purchased.  Only $10.50 on Amazon, free shipping.  Works great.
