Value estimate for 1997 23d /3 with less than 200 hours on her

Asking 15k and getting no action. Am I too high?? Need a fair price to ask where buyers will come look. Boat is in excellent shape and motor is like new.  No trailer.  Please advise thanks

I would say that the diesel adds $1,000 to $2,000 to the base price, but the lack of trailer probably knocks $1,000-$2,000 off. Without seeing pictures and a complete list of upgrades it's hard to give a good valuation, but it looks like similar age boats are in the $10-$16,000 range. So I don't think you're necessarily too high on your asking price.

Were do you have it listed for sale? I've sold my boats through Craigslist and SailingTexas. If you're confident that you have it listed in the right places and your price is reasonable, then it becomes a waiting game. It took me 7 months to sell my 23 (though it was over the winter in MN).

If you've had it posted in numerous places and haven't had ANYONE come to look, then the price is probably too high, knock it down 2,000 and see if it gets some hits. If you HAVE to sell it, put it on eBay, but you'll get a couple thousand less than it is worth if you wait it out.

Only here and sailboat listings at 20k.  I'm gonna list with CL today.  Don't want to wait 6 months. Need it gone so I guess I'm gonna drop to 12,500 obo . The boat is pristine.

Several things wrong with the Sailboat listings add.  It does not show up when searching by manufacturer.  Change "23' Compac 23D" to "Com-pac 23D".  The only way to view your current listing is by state and it appears on page 19 of 23.  When you change the manufacturer to "Com-Pac" it can be included in manufacturer searches.
