I finally got the lazy jacks finished, installed the forward jiffy rigging (forgot to do the aft -- will do it later today), installed the down haul and tested raising the sail. I think I will lubricate the mast slide a bit- it stuck a bit part of the way up, and eventually work out a decent gaff downhaul - again some sticking. I do NOT want to have to go forward if I can avoid it. I put a small carabiner on the aft bungee cord lazy jack and clipped it to the main sheet hardware, to keep it from sliding forward when I lowered the sail. I just have to remember to unclip it when we go sailing. I think today is a good day for jetskiing, so may head out in a few minutes.
