Passed a C-27 on the Neuse off of (upper) Broad Creek/Fairfield Harbor Saturday 24 October around 1600.  Good looking boat.  The first C-27 I have seen on the water.

Good looking boat.  Did not get close enough to read the name.  I was heading home from lower Broad Creek with 6 km left.  Took a couple of pictures with a camera but the resolution is not good enough to recognize the boat.

Hope to see another C-27 again soon.

charlie,

can you wait about 4 years?

we closed monday on our property in oriental.

if all goes as planned, i'll retire in 4 years and build a house on it, then look for a compac 27, or an island packet 27.

Will you have any fingers left after building a house? Maybe think about putting up a brick home.

roger,

would it surprise you if i said shortly after i cut the top off my left middle finger, i had a solid steel door at work slam on the right middle finger.  not once, but twice.  then, trying to be extra carefull closing my car door, i caught the right hand in it the same night.

the fingernail finally grew back, only to be slammed in a heavy steel gate at work this evening.

this happened in the same building my right cornia was torn in 3 weeks ago.

i can attest that state penitentiaries are dangerous places to work.  or maybe i'm just a little accident prone.

Maybe you need a different occupation. Ever think about working in a nuclear facility?  :)
