New CP16 Sailor in WA

'Lo, Chuck here. Just picked up an '84 CP16 - my first boat.

Any Com-Pac sailors on the Olympic Peninsula? I'm at the John Wayne Marina in Sequim.

Today's task: learn to rig the sails.

We're not Peninsula residents, we're from Oregon but trailer up to the Salish Sea every September with our Com-Pac 27.  We'll be putting in at Anacortes on September 7th for two weeks in the San Juans and Gulf Islands.

Welcome to the forum and the CPY family. Watch out for that Bob23 guy! The boat looks real nice, you'll never regret adopting her. Prepare yourself for many hours of enjoyment and adventure with your CP16. Since she's your first boat, you might be a bit nervous. Don't be. You'll find the Com-Pac 16 so solid and easy to sail that you'll want to do it often. Best of luck with her.
