CP19 sails for sale.
I converted my CP19 to a junk rig so am selling my sails. I sailed it one summer before converting.  A previous owner appeared to be serious about his sailing. The sails that came with the boat are in great shape. I have no further need so am selling to offset the cost of a new ruddercraft replacement rudder.
Available:
Mainsail – Excellent / very good condition,  made by UK/Halsey, one set of reef points, luff and foot have slugs. I am unfamiliar with this type of foot and never used the extra grommets or the light line. $150.

Large hank on jib -  Little used, red and white, great shape but for a quarter sized rust stain. Not sure of the %, the foot measures 12Ft 5in.,  Really made he boat go.  $130

Spinnaker - Also in great shape, measures 9ft 9" at foot x 18. $75. Have pole as well.

2 Storm jibs -
Smaller storm jib came with the boat.  Maybe never used. Built rugged with heavy weight sail fabric. Has 8ft 6in Luff, 4ft 11in high cut Foot, J(?)  measurement would be 3ft. Leach is 5ft 5in. Has a rust stain. Would work well with a CP16 also. $95.
Larger storm jib that I've had for years. Came from a 20 ft sailboat but I used it on on my 16. Luff 10ft 7in, Foot is six feet ad high cut. J(?) measurement is 4ft 6 in.  Old, stained but still rugged,  Hanks are heavily tarnished but solid and springs work well.   $65.

Can email sail pictures.
Mast with wire rigging and boom also available.

Phil,

I may be interested.  I am in NJ, are you anywhere close?

I have a CP 19-mkII, does your boat have the bowsprit?

Thanks,

Hi
Sorry to be so slow to respond. After finding buyers for the sails I stopped checking the
classified page. I want to keep the rigging with the mast. The new junk rig, with it's
free standing mast, sails and works even better than I had hoped and I won't ever use the
mast. While I might consider selling the boom and mast complete with rigging I'm leaning
toward hanging on to them. Eventually when the boat is sold some buyer with questions
about the junk may feel reassured with the possibility to change back to the original rig.
Good luck with getting the rigging.

How about some pictures of that "junk rig".  I am thinking of doing something similar with my Sun Cat.
