WyattC (CP16) is once again in the garage for the winter after sailing northern Door County, WI.  What I learned while laying up?  The "Works" is a cheap great bottom cleaner, spray wax put a great extra wax coat on the hull for winter, a rubber sheave will hold a small motor (Tohatsu 4) from unwanted rotation, Sikkens Cetrol is a better wood protector than varnish, IDA rudders WORK but need bottom paint to avoid "green" growth, and Downy sheets help prevent spider invasions.

The best news is;  all of these tips came from the Com-Pac Yacht Owners Association forum.  Thanks everyone.

Gerry.  Good that all seems well with you and the boat.  I have not sailed Door County but it is on my list to take my Eclipse to.  I noticed the statement "a rubber sheave will hold a small motor (Tohatsu 4) from unwanted rotation".  hmm  My Nissan (Tahatsu 4) will turn especially at low idle speed.  Can I get you to expand on your statement?  Thanks in advance.
