Thought I would share my first attempt sailing with the GoPro.  Handlebar mount on the end of a whisker pole.  Still working out the mounts. Excuse the sail trim etc...

Would be interested in hearing suggestions for camera mounts/angles.

Enjoy!

Hey Curt Tampa:
Yes, it looked like quite a day.

I really enjoyed the flick.  Great looking boat. Looks as if you were cruising at 5-6 kts with a steady wind.

I keep the boat hook at the same place as you.  Seems to stay there pretty well no matter what the weather and is always handy.

thanks for sharing.

I enjoyed that. I used to have a mount for a little Kodak waterproof camera so I could set it and leave it. Somehow, the past few times, I got no uploads though. I'll need to revisit that and try again.

Great that you shared the sail video!

Glad you enjoyed it! Yes.. 5-6 knots - had a brief burst to 7 - probably tide and just the tight surge. Working on the boat today - looking for mounting spots.

Nice video Curt!  I'm sure we'll enjoy more of the same after proper mounts are made up.
