Hello and thanks to all for the excellent forum.  Just bought a cp 19 hull 118.  Have not sailed her yet.  Nice boat, I'm looking around now for a better trailer.  I think this one is original.  Made it home 600 miles, but I want to take her to the west coast, 1500 miles.  I stepped the mast and could not figure out how to run the halyards.  Looked over the forum and never found much.  Any suggestions.

Well that was easy, one of the forums members emailed his phone number and he explained it,  I was kind of over thinking a straight forward setup.   Thanks to all

On a 19 they are pretty simple. The main Halyard runs up the mast to the starboard set of sheaves at the mast gantry from forward to aft, so the shackle is aft, and the jib halyard does the opposite on the port set of sheaves.

If the 19 is like the 23 they are external halyards and running them is really easy.  The instructions are in the other post.

Check out the condition on your halyards.  If they are rough it is a good time to replace them.
