Traditionally a lot of people who went the 6V house bank route used Sam's Club for 6V batteries.  They are the cheapest and the Duracell is a good battery.  It is basically a Deka battery.  From what I have been told, not quite a Trojan but almost as good.

Anyway, Batteries Plus also carries the Duracell Deka 6V battery.  You can get the 215 amp hour version and they stock it in the store.  The price is just under $100.  This is cheaper than Sam's Club if you are not a Sam's Club member (you have to pay an additional 10% if you don't belong to Sam's Club).  You can also buy the 235 amp hour batteries there and they are close to $130.  They are not in stock and they will get them in about a week if you order them.
