Boat still in the yard

I couldn't put the boat in this year.It all started when I promised the wife a new kitchen.Being an older house I knew there would be a few issues.I figured six weeks and now after 7 months I can see the end.Still haven't tried out the bow sprit or the foiled rudder but the paint job still looks good.I got out about a dozen times usually on another Compac.The sailors at the marina across the river from me are always short handed so I've had the chance to sail on a lot of different boats.Went out on my friends cp23 for a night sail.Never did it before,it's a whole different world out there.Definitely do it again.The river started to ice over today so the season is officially over.There's always next year........DougN
