Anyone ever installed a small spray hood (not a full width dodger) over the companionway hatch on a Legacy ?

No, but living in the PNW I've considered the problem. I'd be interested in what anyone has done on a Legacy or a 16 dodger or spray hood.

Guys,

Today, anything is possible - once you SPECIFICALLY define the PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE of the protection required.

Then it's a matter of deciding whether it is a DIY project, or something better left to experienced professionals with design and fabrication skills to make it happen.

It's amazing what could be done inexpensively with a little imagination, wood, PVC or Aluminum Pipe, and appropriate cloth and/or isinglass.

Just some words of encouragement.
