Where do you put your name?

Do you have the name of your boat on the transom or on the sides?  I am trying to figure out where to put it.  I think that I prefer the name on the transom but I am debating on if this will look okay since the ladder will cover the name, slightly.

Døyr sjølv det sama

I like to see the names on the sides, easier to identify from either side.

Also a little more room for logos and such.

Both sides close to the stern.  The transom on a 23 is WAY too busy with an outboard rudder, a boarding ladder, and a mounted outboard.

Now if you don't have all that stuff back there I prefer the transom.  One of my early boats, a Columbia 24 challenger "Faux Pas" not the best pic this is in the pre digital era.:):
