New Jibs

I recently purchased new sails from National Sail and have been very pleased with them.  I have a MK-1 Com-Pac 16 and the recommended standard jib size for the MK-1 is a 130.  I ordered one from National and received it about a month ago.  It took about a month to get it (they have it made).  I have used it numerous times and I'm very happy with it.  A couple of weeks ago I received a Genoa 150 from National.  Today the conditions were right for me to try it out.  I had an amazing time sailing today!  The sail worked great and I caught a lot of wind. I now have three new jibs.... A storm jib, the 130 and the 150.  My main is fairly new and in good condition, so I'm good there.

Either pull the main sail up the mast, or tighten the down haul of the boom.
You may want to put another sail stop under the gooseneck in the slot UNDER the boom. So the boom stays up.
Loosen the port side head sail sheet, it is influencing the side stay.
Is it the camera or the head stay that is curved with the pull of the sail?

But who cares? It's much more important to be sailing on the water and enjoying the voyage.

The camera lens creates that curvature, Skip. I think I have the stays fairly well adjusted now.  You are right about the boom though.  When raising the main, it almost pops out of the mast.  It's just hanging in there by an inch of metal and then we pull down and tie it off.  Looks like we didn't pull down hard enough this time.  I like the idea of using another sail stop.

What is the weight of the material in the 150?
Do you have tracks for the 150 or take the sheets to the aft cleats?
