Hi, I was just recently noticing my time logged in. I have only been on here a few months. We have some folks who have been here quite a long time; was wondering if folks would be interesting in a sound off type of thread where the replies would have a subject of their total time logged in, see who is the Methuselah here.

I got 15 days, 5 hours and 58 minutes. But I was a lurker for about a year before that.

Funny because I would have thought it would have been longer.

All it really is from is that specific IP address, and the system time. You can opt to stay logged in forever, and so the differing time is from changes to the system, network, IP addresses, devices, etc.

Nothing to really pay attention to overall.

I understand, MacGuyver; I'm just interested in the numbers. I hope you'll post yours, and others will chip in.

Sure, I could be the only curious one; appreciate Billy putting his up there!

It is fun to click on {More Stats} in the Forum Stats section near the bottom of the home page.  All kinds of info there.

As long as we are on the subject of contributions to the site , here is an update on what we owe Bob23.

Bob's most recent post.

Long periods of regular soaking with PB Blaster before you try anything. Sometimes I'll heat the area first then apply the PB. Either way, patience is a nice tool to have in this case, too. I like the vice grips on the screwdriver approach although my old Snap-on screwdrivers have a hex just beneath the handle which is sized to fit a common wrench. Really handy.
I suppose the last resort is to drill it out, retap the next bigger size and use marine Never-Seeze on the threads. Just my 2 cents...keep the change.
Bob23

So, at his current count of 4124 posts we owe him exactly $82.48

You can thank me later Bob.

I had about this much time logged in with about 1900 or so posts when I got bumped off the site for a year for being too politically Conservative.
On this second time around I'm sitting at -->Total time logged in: 23 days, 22 hours and 9 minutes and 1910 posts.

[To paraphrase Mario Andretti; "If your in control, your not going fast enough"]

skip.

Mike:
What can I say but thank you? I'm speechless and as you might suspect, that ain't easy to achieve! The money will go toward the Drambuie I still owe you for beating me in the dingy race that I didn't show up for. On that subject- I demand a rematch!!!

29 days, 11 hours, 14 minutes give or take a few. If I only sailed that much!

But Mike, do we have to pay Bob23 for all his posts? I mean some of them might not have been worth it.

Never mind. There's a kind'a husky fella named Guido at the door just now that assures me I'm wrong. And I'm pretty sure he's right.

Sorry Mel, I have to disagree.  I believe every post Bob has ever submitted was worth just about exactly two cents.  He did say we could keep the change, so I guess we can round it off to $84 even.

I see they don't call you Gracious Greene for nothing, eh?  ;D But, I'd have to admit that considering inflation, some are now worth less than a penny and some may be valued as high as 4 cents.
I see your'e ducking the idea of a rematch.
