Thought I could share some pictures (some taken today, some taken in the past) as I havent been really contributing normally lately.
It is way too hot to go sailing after working in the heat all day doing fiberglass repair, and working on small engines. So you all will benefit from my boredom at home!

First I will begin with a home made engine. I found this to be pretty interesting to say the least. Probably top on the list of awesome as far as its simplicity.

Next will be some pictures of a Cat on a Beneteau 28.5 and that cat actually likes to sail, and at anchor supposedly jumps on top of the bimini and sits just hanging out....... he walks on a leash too.......

Next up, Keel step mast, and how some folks decide it is best to leave em setup.....

Lastly, a few neat things from a guy who has a West Wight Potter (or what we call Harry Potter boats) and the neat things he has done to his trailer.
Hinged licence plate

Step on the winch mount

A light connector to keep the trailer clean

Thanks for taking a look!

Very interesting...was that a backup light on the trailer? Good idea. And a great use for your old lawnmower after it's life as a lawnmower is done.

The 4.5 hp air-cooled Honda atop the bottom end of an old outboard is just about the same thing as the 5 hp Briggs and Stratton air-cooled outboard.
Nothing wrong with either O/B's.

Cats out for a voyage are not that unusual. Several cats have been written about in books detailing long ocean voyages. One feline overboard and was lost.

I don't believe that neither the port or starboard lines from the mast to the winch will prevent further disaster. What's wrong with the turnbuckles. Is this mast sitting on the keel? I see no tabernacle.

A trident ensign? Somebody is or was a past Commander in the United States Power Squadron.  Messy house keeper and isn't the mast's step somehow suppose to be secured to the bottom of the hull? Oh, it the same mast as the above comment. Now we know why the mast is leaning.

A horse's head? Better then being a horse's anal pore. It's funny, like Maxwell driving a convertible and being pulled over for tail lights.

Hinges are cool. Some hang on the rear axle and some are two plates, one reading from the back and the other reading from the front bolted together ... BUT both mounted over the left rear tail lamp on a '36 Plymouth hot rod.

Steps ahoy. Up in the world.
