I purchased this video after saw the documentary on PBS.  It was produced by PAL Productions narrated by Hal Holbrook.  It is the all time best sailing video I have seen.

The 90 minutes video has some fantastic sailing footages that followed the 20 skippers from 7 nations raced the 27,000 mile race started from Charleston, SC, to Cape Town, then Sydny, the Punta Del Este, then return to Charleston.

Before the winner crosses the finish line after the eight months race, two boat sank and one ran aground and another is lost at sea.  This is the story of how the surviors tackle disaster and celebrate success.

A must see sailing video.
