New member intro

I just bought Compac 23 hull #5 and joined the forum thanks to Bob and the admins' help ... and wanted to say hello to other members. I'm pretty excited about sailing this boat, and I look forward to asking lots of questions of you all!

I probably saw your boat if it was in Dunedin.  We bought our 23 at the same marina a season ago.  A buddy and I walked the piers to check out all the Com-Pacs they had there.  Several 23's and a 27 owned by the couple we bought our 23 from.  Did you get a chance to chat with Bob Lamb?  Really a nice guy and a pleasure to talk with.

Yes, I talked to Bob, although we have not met in person. I saw his cool customized CP23, and he introduced me to this forum, and I know he is active on here, although I don't know his username. Bob, if you read this, thanks again for all the help you've provided.
