The bunks and associated support wood under bunks is rotten. Seems like it would be easier to remove the entire deck from the hull instead of crawling in bunk area to remove and replace. Has anyone done this or have an opinion? Is the hull/deck joint glued or just fastened with rivets?

I can add only this:

It is doable. The seam is either bolted or riveted. And a sealer / adhesive bonds them also called 5200.
That seam would be best seperated by removing all the fasteners, then using a Dremel Multi Max or similar oscillati g cutter tool to cut into that seam to desperate it..
Would be a lengthy job.

Well I took the deck off yesterday, took about an hour. Definitely more work room but also somewhat of a can of worms. Lots more work to do now but want to do it right. Thanks for the info and the link.
