Need something in the galley on a cool day? Takes 45 minutes to sauce up, more time for spaghetti.
Make it at home, dump chili in a plastic container, take to boat. Scoop, heat and eat.

Heat in Dutch Oven:
-2 teaspoons oil
-1 lb ground beef+1/4 lb ground pork.
-Break up with fork simmer 5 minutes NOT BROWN.
Stir in:
-1&1/4 teaspoon salt and celery salt
-1 bay leaf
-1 beef bullion cube
-1 tsp sugar
-4 drops of Gravy Master
-2 crushed cloves garlic
-1 grated carrot
-1 chopped onion
Add 1/2 tsp:
-black pepper
-paprika
-parsley
-ground clove
-chili powder
-cayenne
-oregano
-sweet basil
Add 1 tbs:
-vinegar
-Worcestershire Sauce.
Cover and simmer for 15 minutes:
Add:
-1 tbs flour
-1~28 oz can whole round peeled tomatoes, break up with fingers
-1~6 oz can of tomato paste or larger can.
-1 can of water.
Do Not Cover. Simmer for 20 minutes.
Add:
-1/4 cup of any sweet red wine. Mogan David is fine.

At this point one could serve over spaghetti or forget the spaghetti and do chili
Add:
-3 cans of dark red kidney beans, well rinsed and drained.
