Hi, Does anyone know the PHRF rating for a CP23 MKII?  We have a 150% genoa with roller furling, dacron sails.   Thanks, Cindy

Hi Cindy -

I don't race my 23 regularly, but the 2 times I have, she was given a 264, IIRC.

That may be an appropriate rating for an unladen 23 with new sails, but we sure suffered with it. Note that Epiphany is an original 23 (Hull #26), retrofitted with a bowsprit. That she also has an inboard diesel engine, old tired sails, and was loaded down with all kinds of cruising miscellany, probably had something to do with our speed. :)

Welcome to the Forum, BTW. :)
