News:

2-15-25: Gerry Hutchins, founder of Com-Pac, has crossed the bar and headed west.

Sincere condolences to his family, and a huge "Thank You!" to Gerry from all of us, I'm sure.
Requiescat in pace.

 SOLD
Stiff little cruiser, 2000 lb displacement, 800 pound ballast, 2' draft fixed keel.
New 6 oz. mainsail w/2 full battens, newer 150% genoa w/UV strip on Shaeffer Snap-Furl furler, new assymetrical cruising spinnaker, original main and jib fair.
All lines led to cockpit, new Ida-Sailor foiled rudder blade, tiller tamer.
Rock-solid Evinrude 6 hp 2-stroke long shaft engine w/retractable engine bracket.
Compass, digital depth gauge, knotmeter, mainsail and tiller covers.
Manual bilge pump, anchor with chain and rode, stainless steel swim ladder.
Fitted trailer with new rollers, brand new bunks/axle/bearings/high capacity tires.
Porta-potti (stows under companionway), battery (for running lights & instruments).

The interior was recently re-fitted to provide comfortable cruising accommodations for two. The two spacious settee berths received an additional inch of top quality foam before being professionally re-upholstered in saddle-toned vinyl. The vee-berth cushions were removed (but were retained, and can be replaced at any time), and removable Formica galley flats were constructed across the after end of the vee, similar to the arrangement in the ComPac Eclipse (without the tiny sink). The area forward of the mast provides easily-accessible stowage. An incredibly stable, beautiful, solid little boat, being sold only because I have finally retired and am moving from Montana to Oak Harbor WA, and plan to buy a larger, non-trailerable boat. Located in Bozeman MT until January 2013.  Call Ferd @ 406-586-3298 or email oldferdj at yahoo dot com. $5050.

Hey ferdjohns:
Am I going to be the only ComPac left in Mt?  I wish that your C-19 would have been for sale two years ago when I bought our C-16 and drug it up from FL.

Good luck selling your boat and in your retirement to WA.
