We have attended the CLR for the past three years and have made some wonderful new friends.  This year Mike and Becky of Island Time fame weren't able to attend and we sorely missed their company.  Brenda and I drove down to Columbus, Ohio to visit our son and his girlfriend on Friday.  Since Mr. And Mrs. Salty19 live nearby we were able to meet up at a local bar/restaurant to share some drinks, appetizers and laughter.  It was truly wonderful to see them again and we had just a great time catching up and talking sailing.

Thanks for taking time out of your busy lives to meet us on such short notice Mike and Becky.  We look forward to spending more time with you at CLR 2013.

Your friends,

Mike and Brenda

INDEED!
Part of the fun of hanging around on this site is to be able to meet some of the folks in person. From PeterG and his wife Becky, Capt Nemo, Marty and JT to others that I still look forward to meeting, it has been a real pleasure! Looking forward to meeting more of our Punta Gorda skippers when I can skip out of NJ this winter for a few weeks...I hope.

Hi Mike and Brenda!

Great to see you both as well!   We'll definitely be at CLR2013 and are really looking forward to see you and guys, as well as the rest of the CLR Motleys next year.

Next time you guys come to town we'll have a bed and bath on the lake for you guys. 5 minutes for door to dock :)

Bob, you're spot on.  Our lives are enriched by getting to know some of the crew (and captains!) aboard this forum.   Stay safe this week...
