What's the best Bimini for the CP 23/2? What are the measurements? Can it be used when sailing or just at anchor?

I dont know size and such but i will recommend a place
Ameri-Brands.

I think the website is www.websweeper.com

Dont know why the odd site.......but really good quality and can get a ss hardware option as well.

I have one on my 23/3, I believe it was a from the factory and you can still buy one directly from Hutchins. I can use it while sailing and used it often this summer. If at all possible I like to have it down (folds forward and mostly out of the way), but on those hot summer days it takes the cockpit from unbearable to cool and shady. This summer I told my wife every boat we own the rest of our lives will have a bimini and an autopilot, no mater how small, they are my favorite boat luxury items (with roller furling jib being a distant 3rd).

I don't think I have any pictures of the bimini up from a distance, but here we are lounging at anchor a couple weeks ago:

I bought mine from Ameri-Brands, it was built by Carver Industries. I went with a 3 bow model with SS tubing and hardware along with a 4' track to mount it on. The track lets me store it forward or backward under the tiller.

I can sail fine with mine.  I have to adjust it on the track depending on what jib I have on the furler so it won't interfere with the sheets.  is a little difficult to flake and tie off the main over it but can be done.

I have one that was given to me, and after cutting it down, I still can't see how it would work. It is a 4 bow, and 7 foot long. But even if I only use 3 bow I just can't see where I can place it where it's out the way. I saw someone posted about a "tent" and like that idea, only thing you can't use it as you sail. But I love the sun, so I think I will go that way.
