i had a post about trying to refinish the rudder blade on my 1982 which i just bought in july, after starting to grind it down, and considering the materials needed, i bought a regular aluminum blade from compac for $170.00, not a bad price , i think an ida blade was $375.00, didnt want to invest that much, thinking of a  used Suncat in the future, i live 5 minutes from a lake , but they dont have slips, i have to drive an hour to where i keep it now, which is a state park with slips.im in my sixtys and think a suncat would be the ticket for easy set up and launch, ill save $500.00 which is the cost of the slip for the season.Any suncat people out there?Dont get me wrong i love the 19, its the ideal cruisiong boat, you feel your on a 25 footer.
