Unread Posts

Arrived home from a 2 week vacation to find 4 pages of unread topics here.  I looked over the topics without reading any of them and now when I go to "Show unread posts since last visit", they're gone!

This happens from time to time.  Again, I do not actually click on any of the topics to read them, yet the next time I "come aboard" they are gone.

Anyone else experience this?

This is the site's normal behavior - it's literally "unread posts SINCE LAST VISIT", not "posts I haven't read yet." Visiting the site and then leaving it clears the list. I have learned not to log on unless I have time to read all the new posts.

If you don't want to loose them, back out of them one at a time as you open them.
Backing out, not going back up and hitting 'Show unread posts since last visit'. I think.
