I was surfing the web today at lunch looking for boat projects (how sick am I....I don't even have a boat yet!) and I came across this guys website.  He has been restoring a 1974 Catalina 22.  I can't comment on the quality of the work but he seems to provide a HUGE amount of details, including a list of EVERYTHING, lots of pictures and has done a cost breakdown and where he got the parts.  Some of the info may be helpful for others so I thought I would pass it along.

Any Compac Yacht Owners have a similar site?

That is a similar site for a compete refit of a Nimble Kodiak. Amazing amount of hard work and thought went into it. Probably an amazing amount of money too, the asking price was $42,000 when he sold it: http://sailingtexas.com/201101/snimble26103.html

WOW!!!!  What a lot of detail in the Seaweed website.  I like the 'Fun with LED's' project.  I bet it does look cool at night.  The 'Snap instead of Screw' is a good idea too.

Oh. My. God. That LED project is so cool I had to breathe into a paper bag. I am going to do that for sure before I head out on my circumnavigation.
