Sailors,

I'm ready to practice heaving-to in the Horizon Cat.  A more simple system that a sloop.  What are the cat boat heave-to fundamentals?
I'm imagining sheeting the sail all the way in flat, lashing the helm over to one side and adjusting the centerboard for best effect, probably down?

With a reef in the sail for strong wind?

Thanks, 8-)

With wind forward of beam - Let go of tiller, luff main, raise center board, trim main till boat starts to point up, and then optionally lash tiller or wheel to leeward if needed. I've done it a few times in the past 2 years, sometimes by accident.
