Around the docks when the others have gone,
an opportunity to make things ship shape.

Crank the outboard engine,  disconnect the gas line and let the
carburator run itself dry so it can't make deposits and sludge.

Use the little whisk broom in the cabin until I can't feel any grit on the floor.
Pick up paper and bottle caps take out the garbage bag.

Not do anything to the portapotti, since nobody used it.  Yeah.

Make sure the butane cylinder is disengaged from the stove.

Zip the green sail cover  over the boom so they gaff lines rise
directly up to their pulleys.
These make good handholds when moving about the deck.

Feed the anchor line back down into the rode locker.

Spray paint the rusting anchor and chain with black enamel.
Now it's not quite such a mess.

Close the ports and tension them right.   Tie another fender
between the hull and the dock.

Tie the lines just right so she can't go forward enough to bump her bow.

Stop and chat with a houseboat neighbor who is walking around
and looking at boats.

Wonder if I should put some kind of oil on this dry looking exterior teak.

Take the ice chest out because I don't need it when it's just me.

Wonder if I should buy the letters to put LEAH one the stern.
Probably pretty soon.
