iPhone in the Sun

Don't leave your iPhone sitting on the deck in the sun.  I did the other day while I was working on the boat.  I picked it up to snap a photo but the screen gave me an "iPhone Overheated" message and would not let me anything but dial an emergency number.  It cooled off after I put it in my pocket and seems to be fine now.  I never had that problem with my old "regular" cell phone.
