Thanks for the responses on the dinghy . I just ordered the Sevylor 3 man fish hunter Brackish describes. At a shipping weight of 20lbs it looks manageable even with a 16. It's for occasional use and should should lash to the deck deflated and rolled or folded. I think I'll skip the plumbing, though. It's a good day to be thinking about and planning for summer. There's about 5 inches of snow that has come down so far today. I also ordered a tiller bracket to install my Simrad tiller pilot on the Compac.  I kept the TP10 when I sold my old Albin Vega. It made single handing so much more relaxed. The 16's rudder had too much slop for a pilot but it's been re-drilled and bolted. I'm looking forward to see how it works on the Compac. Anyone using a TP on a 16?
