The wife and I, for our 40th anniversary coming up on the 5th, are taking a cruise this month.  (Our first) We are sailing out of Tampa on the 12th.  We tenatively plan to be in Tampa somewhere around noon on Saturday.  I forget which of you all live and sail out of the Tampa area?

Welcome to Florida.  I'm originally from Tampa, but I live in Fort Lauderdale now.  There's lots of good sailing within a day's sail of Tampa, though.  My favorite area was St Joseph's Sound and Anclote Anchorage. (North of St Petersburg, near Tarpon Springs.)

Happy 40th.  That's a biggie!

I live in Palm Harbor (just south of Tarpon Springs, north of clearwater, and all the way west of Tampa). And I will be going out Sat. to Anclote Key. You are welcome to join me if you can make it!

Would love to have a fellow Com-Pac-er on the boat!

I am also planning to winter in Florida (2012).   Will be staying in the Fort Pierce area.  Is there small boat sailing in this area?  Boat rentals? Opportunity to mate on a boat?  Any information is appreciated
