Ok,. . . I'm not much at providing a writing journal as some boats do. My "crew" members are just getting to the point where I can take a moment to handle a camera for a moment or two here and there. (The "Admiral" and "Vice-Admiral" in the video are my best friends wife and daughter who have really taken to sailing this summer).

Never submitted a vid to youtube before. I "think" its public. If you can't see it please let me know.

Nice video! There were a couple times it looked like she was really moving!

It looks like you have your Jib Sheets ran kinda funny. Like you go to the cleat 1st then the drum.

You should run them either through the jib cars or the big pad eye on the combing 1st then around the winch, then to the cleat.

Very nice video, Ray. Did YouTube offer help with the sequencing technique. Good when newcomers have a memorable sail. Make more before season's over.

Ray -- Nice video - that s what sailing is all about.   I liked the way you switched from one to another video.  What software are you using?

Thanks guys for comments!

HideAway/Jamato : that was just a handful of short clips edited together using a Mac with included "iMovie" software. You can select from a big list different type of transitions (I just like a simple "cross fade"), but they have different "themes" as well. Just a simple click and the Mac does the rest, it may be a little cheesy but it does look kinda cool. Total-time on that video was about 20 min.

Billy: not sure what you saw . . . I've been flying my jenny with sheets run outside of all shrouds, to jib cars, then up to winch and cleat. Switching over shortly to the smaller jib for the fall with sheets coming straight through to fairlead and winch.

Hope to do another video when leaves are changing colors. (all to soon from now!)
