Hi Shawn & Cutis:
Been into both harbors many times, Wickford is great and Allen's harbor is fair. Not much there (Allen's Harbor) but very reasonable and sheltered from the bay. I have never anchored at Allens harbor because they are so reasonable on their mooring and slips at the marina and yacht club in there. entrance into there is kind of an "S" curve but not bad. I like wickford because the town is great especially during the arts festival in the summer. I do believe Shawn that your in the marina that my friends sailboat is in, it's named NUEROSEA and is a 25 or 27 Paceship. I think it has a light blue hull. I do business with Wickford Machine in the Quonset hut there, he is an "old school machinist" an a real character, funny chap as they say. I'm not in the water yet but close. I'll keep in touch and perhaps we can put something together this season.

Hi, Gents. This is my first post. Bought a 81 CP16 a few weeks ago and I've been too busy working on her and reading good tips on here to do much else. She's in the water as of yesterday, rigged and appears to be floating! I'm in Groton, CT and lucky enough to have the boat in the water in my neighborhood. I'll be around most of the summer and would love to bring the boat for a get-together or meet you to crew. Wherever you decide is fine with me, but I'll be staying close to shore for the first year, so Cutty or MV I'd probably just meet you. Another thought--just past PJ there are a bunch of great ports (Stonington, Mystic, etc. so E.CT could be fun too!)

Really looking forward to meeting you all!

YEA!! - 2 CP owners here in the Nutmeg State now,

Got my neighbor pulling the Coconut T. out of the yard and down to its new home tomorrow (Brewer Pilots Point, Westbrook CT). - it should be in its slip later on this week. All new stuff for me - hope to be out on the water by mid-June, but taking it slow.
