I asked for Thur and Fri off to attend.  If I'm denied, I'll go on Sat.
I'd much rather go on the weekdays though, too many people on the weekends.
I have seminars picked out I want to go to.

Just arrived home from Strictly Sail Chicago where we met Rich.  He's easy to talk with and is genuinely interested in hearing from Compac owners.  I only hope I look as good as he does at 68!

Back home again from our second day at Strictly Sail Chicago.  Talking again with Rich Hutchins and he asked for my phone number and email so a new Compac dealer in St. Louis can contact me about CLR.  This new Compac dealer would like to participate.  Maybe I can convince him to raffle off a new 35! Ok, let's be realistic, a new 27!  Not likely you say? How about a new 23!  Your right, not going to happen.  How about a new T-shirt! Well, that's a possibility.

In other news, Rich says the deck for the new MS 23 came in and they are working on 2 interior designs.  One of the interiors will have a private head.  Yes ladies you can stand up and cheer!  The boat will be ready for test sails this spring.  Anyone who lives in the area that can sneak a ride and snap some photos for the board?

I may be visiting my daughter in Punta Gorda this spring and in conjunction, plan a visit to the Compac factory. I'd sure love to see a MS 23 in person being a currrent 1985 23/2 owner. I've spoken with both Rich and Gerry at times over the years a boat shows. Both very great guys.
If I make it to thier shop and if they allow, I try for some spy photos. You'll see 'em here first!

Meet Rich too. He plans to be at boat show in STL next weekend.  STL Sailing Center now a CPY dealer. I was not planning to go but now I'm not sure.

The 27 at Portage Des Sioux Harbpr is still calling my name...the 19 may be on C's list yet today... fun show for this first timer..

When the Admiral saw the 44 Island Packet at SS the 27 suddenly looked pretty good...RBB
