Saw this sailboat on Craigslist.  It only had this pic and almost no description.  The ad stated it was a shallow draft 19 footer with a good galvanized trailer.  Is there enough showing to ID it?

Found out later it is a Montego 19.  Pretty similar lines to a CP-19.

It sure looks like a older CP19, doesn't it!?!

IMO if the seller doesn't know the name of the boat, or is too lazy to mention it, it's probably not worth looking at.  It could be a really nice boat but I am wary of such ads.  It screams of a neglected boat, a scam or a widow.  I hope I'm wrong on all accounts.

Ask for a HIN number at "the back right side of the boat".  If it starts with ABV is probably a CP19. That will also tell you the year (last two digits, I think?).

I know you're looking for one...good luck they are not easy to find in good shape.  I posted a "looking for a CP19" thread which led to finding one within 3 weeks.  Migh t want to try it..worked for me.
