In the forum for split cabin doors I posted that I am using a "snipe" mainsail and I think I confused some people with what I was trying to say.(very normal for me). The sail I am using is for a "snipe" sailboat. I bought the sail from Masthead in St.Petersburg Fla.  Masthead is a Com-Pac dealer and sail loft, they are a friendly and know their stuff. The sail is lug on and loose footed,  2 battons, has a window and a bird emblem(snipe?).  I do not know the sailmaker. I paid $165.00 (three years ago) and bought it to get the boat on the water as Masthead did not have a proper sail to fit.  Any more questions, please ask.    HAPPY SAILING    BILL
