What size jib and genoa came with the 1983 CP-19?  I'm looking into getting a CDI furler and having the genny cut to fit it, but I don't even know what size the job and genny are.

You should consider sending your sails to sailcare (WWW.sailcare.com) to see if their process can repair your sails.  I had my original (85) Genoa done there last year and I have a main there now.  The charge was less than $100 for cleaning and some minor repairs at the tack.  Shipping - you can figure about $35 total - both ways.  They evaluate the sail for free.  I've been very pleased with the results on my Genoa.

The folks at Sailcare are very familiar with the CP-19 and have all the dimensions for the sails. They can make you a sail I believe. I had my original 1982 sails reconditioned by them and was totally satisfied with the results.
