Experimental Main Sail

Big question.  I know that somewhere on this site there is a discussion and a link concerning a mainsail that was basically a square sail not attached in the traditional way.  There was no luff area the leading edge was just directed into the wind.  Skimpy info I know but I just started looking at it when the site when in for its overhaul - which may I add was wonderful and really glad to have it back up and operating.
