"Void"

Mister Bee

On my new Legacy I noticed yesterday a deep crack in the gel coat on the starboard deck about four inches long. It chipped right off like a broken tooth. It's on a raised contour line, exactly where one would step aboard. I checked a maintenance source (book), and found that this occurence is caused by something called a "void", sort of a hollowness in that spot. I'm told that the repair is "simple", and I haven't checked whether it is a warranty issue yet. Has anyone had experience with a "void"?

I'm sure that would be covered under the warranty. The Hutchins brothers are men of integrity and build quality ships. Contact them first.

It is a simple repair and they should make it good. The glass did not get rolled into the corner. GOOD LUCK  BILL
