On Friday, 24~April~2008 I pulled the C-P 19 out of winter storage and the model "A". Of course it snowed Friday night. And Saturday. And cold today Sunday. Not looking too good for the rest of the week either.

Where I work [Palmer Johnson Yachts] we splashed one of our 150 footer Super Sport Yachts and next Friday the 120 foot Sport Yacht goes in. Only six more to finish for this season. I'm pooped out! 5~10 hour days, and 2~6 hour weekend days every darn week. Help!! skip.

Skip,
I can relate to your weather, we are South of you in Burlington.  No Snow but Cold and very windy.  We put off lauch date of Summer Escape to the middle of May.

I went to the Palmer Johnson website...........WOW !! nice yachts !!! I couldn't even pay for the gas for one day of cruising in one of those.  They look very nice.  Must be nice to work on making those.

Hang in there.  It will warm up.   Someday.

Well the 150 Super Sport Yacht just splashed will hold 60,000 gallons of fuel at around $4.00 per that is $250,000 to fill her up. And I thought I drank a lot with two beers a week. LOL skip.

Lost Lake

I suppose you get a deal when you buy 60,000 gallons at a time!   We're paying $4.25 for diesel down here....

Bob23

Darn...al of the 150's are sold! Guess I'll have to make due with my 23! Less fuel. More fun! The gold one looks cool.

So Skip,  can you show me around PJ when I'm in SB? And is Perry's Diner still open or did they sell out? I should be up there pretty soon, if not to sail yet, at least to camp.... I really want to see your boat this spring....

Lost Lake,

ZEE BOOT IS IN FRONT OF ZEE HUSE ON ZEE TRAILER!

And needs to be cleaned up and for this year, new bottom paint from PJ's...Black or white are my choices from Petit. What do you or anyone pick? I can't decide. skip.

I use, and swear by, Aquaguard.  I use the color Teal on my CP 19.  I used red on my CP 16, and both look sharp.  By using this product, with both boats, after keeping the boat in the lake water continuously from June through November, there was just a trace of scum on the bottom, which quickly was hosed off.  Only had to rub a little in a few spots to get the bottom like-new.

Hope to bring zee boot in front of zee huse on zee trailer tomorrow!  Will just need to do minor work this year (Aquaguard lasts 2 years before having to put on another coat, I've found), such as polygloing the boat, cetoling the teak (interior and exterior), install some new lines, and such odd jobs.  Can't wait!
