I somehow am receiving forum traffic on every subject available and getting heads-up via the e-mail for every post. I would like to know how to stop it. thanks. dave.

Check your digest settings.

Thank you Curtis! I believe you have the answer. I was unaware of just what the digests were (I am familiar with a motorcycle forum that utilizes the same set up as Com-Pac owners but they do not use the digest feature so it was unknown to me. When I made my adjustments it told me that I had unsubscribed from the digests so I think we achieved what I was hoping to accomplish. Thanks again. Dave.
