Boarding ladder for stern of Com-Pac 16

I'm a new member, having recently bought a Com-Pac 16 sight-unseen on Ebay. The 1983 boat & trailer are in good condition, however, I want to add some upgrades. I'm looking for input on the type, size, and source for a fold-up stern-mount, boarding ladder. Thanks, D B Dosch

  Hi DB, I used a telescoping ladder from boaters world. It folds up small enough to not be in the way on the transom, then drops deep enough to make boarding easy.  HAPPY SAILING   BILL

We also have a 1983 CP16 and just this past January I found a Garelick Folding Transom Ladder from BoatersWorld.com for $99.99  it is two step and tho I haven't mounted it on the boat yet, it looks like a winner.  Boatersworld.com item number 366480127.

Is a 16 ft com pac sea worthy for lake erie 4 footers?

Don't know about four footers.... we mostly sail on smaller inland lakes.  Had some two foot waves, I guess and the CP 16 was fine.  You should post your question over on the CP 16 board.
Probably get more answers there.
