Replace some lost fiberglass that is now a stripped out hole.

I was not sure if this would work. I used it on my 1930 Ford Model "A" and I used this on my buddies Com Pac-19.
What is 'IT'? It is a tube of JB Weld putty. For ever now in my boat's tool kit. It won't leak or mess up the inside of the tool box like other two part componets.

Yep just cut off from the roll of JB Weld the amount you think you'll need with scissors and knead the grey center and black surround together for a few minutes. You'll have about 5 minutes to use. Apply this wad into or on to what ever you want to repair. Smooth out with a whetted finger. Sets in 20 minutes. Hardens up in a few hours. Drill-tap-screw-glue together.

The really nice thing about this JB Weld is that it is not drippy, runny or messy to use.
Loose a screwed in snap out of the fiberglass? Fill the hole with JB Weld, drill a pilot hole and screw in the snap again.
skip.

I just read this post about JB Weld. I've heard of other fellow Compac-tors using this and, upon your recommendation, I'm gonna get me some. Sounds like a better alternative to PC-7 epoxy and I thought that was great stuff. Used it decades ago on mu dirt bike whose clutch picked up a loose bolt, hurled it through the clutch case leaving a gapping hole. Problem? No problem- just formed the PC-7 over the hole, molded it with me own hands, waited a few hours and, voila! good as new!
  Thanks for the tip.
Bob23...up way too early again.

I've used it too with good results..  Someone rammed HideAway in her slip and pulled the bow pulpit up through the deck.  We always docked stern in to keep the standing rigging out of harms way.  It was easy to use, dries hard as a rock quickly and is holding fine after more than a year.  Matt
