I need to get some bolts, nuts and washers to mount some new hardware on my cabin roof this spring. Does anyone know the thickness of a CP 19 cabin roof (around the mast step and hatch area)?

Thanks, Gil

You'll know once you drill the hole!!

I think it's only about 3/16" depending where you drill.

Its much thicker near the mast step to support the compression load of the mast.

Drill first and then measure.  Also keep in mind that if you have a headliner you have drill a larger hole in the headliner to get a reasonalbe sized backing washer against the cabin top rather than just pressed onto the headliner.  On my CP23 there is close to 1/2 gap in places due to the curve of the headliner.  I found this out when I redid the wiring access for VHF and mast wiring.
