To All:
I thought I'd take the opportunity to wish all a happy and thank-ful Thanksgiving. I've given up over-eating to the point of disgust but still plan on indulging a bit on the wonderful meal that my daughter is planning. Don't have the menu yet, but she's a great cook!
My plans for T-Day, weather permitting, is to...you guessed it...SAIL! Hopefully, the morning will see me hoisting the main, unfurling the jib with a thermos of hot coffee aboard.
Long range forecast for Thursday is for 40% rain or breezy with periods of clouds and sunshine, depending on which forecast one chooses. I like the latter better.  I guess we'll see. This could be the last sail of the year as "Koinonia" has declared she'd like to be hauled that weekend and put to bed. Yet, she yearns to sail and can I deprive the old girl one last fling for the year?
   As they say, "Carpe Diem"!!
Again, my wish for all is for a wonderful Thanksgiving. We certainly have so much to be thankful for. Hey, that might make a good separate topic!
   Cheers, Bob23

While most of us have many reasons to be Thank full this years, lets not forget our military personnel past and present who have given up so much so we can enjoy what we have.

Have a Happy Thanks Giving

p.s. My Dad is doing great and should be home on Fri or Sat.   Thanks God!

Yes, Glenn- A double amen to that.   I have some relatives who visit some of the middle eastern countries and have friends there...we take our freedom for granted.
Koinonia update: She's coming out on Saturday morning. I was planning a TG day sail, but alas, it ain't happenind due to the weather and other demands. Time to put her to bed for the winter.
Let the winter list begin!
