WTB : Bowsprit for 1982 CP19 .The complete package for bowsprit update would be helpful.  Hope somebody has the stuff from an unfinished project lying around. That would help both of us out.

You can buy these from Gerry Hutchins still, they are $570 complete. I don't know how to insert a .pdf, but I can email you the parts list for the CP19 or you can write to Hutchins for it.

The bow sprit kit from Rich at Hutchins was very complete and a full report on installing same on to Captain Rank's Wind Rover C-P 19 is somewhere in the far past and posted by me.
The hardest part about the job was to remove the 'eye' that the tow hook from the trailer winch attaches to. Because...

1~It was cemented in with 3-M 5200. Had to dig that out to expose the nuts.
2~Not too much room to ratchet the nuts off the screws that are part of the eye. So an open end wrench was used...flat by flat by flat.
3~Had to work on your stomach with the shoulders in the rope anchor locker after that bulkhead was removed. [un screwed].
4~Peel back the the rub rail and start to install the bow sprit.

So go back in my profile and review the posts I made for the whole story. skip.

OK . As far as the post below goes...most people are convinced that I work for far less then beer and steaks...I do this for fun and relaxation, So bring it on. The job was rather easy and the only hint that the bow sprit was an add~on is having a turnbuckle beneath the sprit, holding the sprit 'down' against the pull of the head stay. skip.

Yup, you had it in there Skip, pages 30 and 31 of your posts.

In fact you have all kinds of good info in your past posts... I have to call you and have you check out my 19 as she sits on the trailer, then when she's floating. Nothing like an experienced eye to spot the possible repairs and upgrades!!!

Will you work for beer and maybe a steak??
