I have a 2002 16 with a center board. The line to the center board works through a rubber like cleat (similar to the cleat on the rudder only it is metal), and you pull the line into the v to hold the center board up. Does anyone know where I can find one of these (visited two ships stores and west marine today) or at least know the name of this beast?

You might try Com-Pac! Call (727) 443-4408 and ask for Woody in the parts department.

Search for "clamcleat".  One word, maybe two.

Hope this helps.
