I suppose many owners would believe that their boat is the prettiest of the Com-Pac line. But it would be interesting to pose the question to see the results.  What prompted this query  is my experience at the Cabrillo Isle Marina in San Diego since I took a slip space there.  The boat has received numerous glowing comments on its appearance.  Granted that it tends to stick out among a sea of white hulled Beneteaus, Catalinas and other more common brands. Still, what do you all think is the best looking of the Com-Pacs?

I get a ton of compliments on my Eclipse as well, even with a plain beige hull.  But there is something about the round portlights on the 19 and older 23 (and 16 for that matter, but it's more "cute" than good looking) that just stand out to me as fitting for a classic, solid, seaworthy vessel.  Had I planned on keeping a boat in a slip I definitely would have chosen a 19 over the Eclipse. It's the "trailersailability" that sold me on the Eclipse.

Com-pac boats are unique in that they look like older design wood boats.  They are very traditional looking particularly with the teak trim. They stand out from the crowd of new designs with no wood trim and very tall rigs.

The Cat design goes back over a century and is highly regarded amongst traditional sailors.  The Com-Pac Sloops look properly "yachty" and fit in at any yacht club.  My favorite would be the 19 in Awlgrip Flag Blue.

My Eclipse got many compliments at the Lake Geneva Yacht Club in WI, a club founded in the 1800s.  Great group of people.
